That music is John Frusciante (RHCP guitarist), from one of his solo albums. I'm not sure which, sorry, and don't have time to dig it up as I'm headed out the door to work.

Green Chroma Key paint. Spike Jonze directed it i believe.
I mean, obviously they used a chroma key but that doesn't account for the fact that the camera didn't have the information behind the skateboard anyway. That's what I want to know how they matched up.

I think the order might be wrong for that.dominical costa rica tours I think they shoot, recording the camera motion the whole time, wait until they get a good take, clear everyone out, then shoot the backing plate with the recorded motion. If you notice, there are no dolly shots, it's all tilts and pans from tripods, making capturing camera motion that much simpler, in both equipment and execution, and less expensive.A lot of shots are shot at a low enough angle that you won't see shadows or the light is so flat there are no shadows. The shot where he kicks up the dirt comes to mind. Still, pretty amazing. There are some great compositions with a lot of elements and a lot going on in the backgrounds.
